The Experiment and the Brutality of Man

The Experiment will star Adrien Brody (The Pianist) in a re-enactment of the Zimbardo Prison Experiment. A psychological experiment to test how far males will go when placed in a specific social role, the Zimbardo Experiment had to be stopped after only six days. Those in the role of guards dehumanized, brutalized and basically tortured their fellow students with little prompting from a higher authority, their teacher (Zimbardo). Think Abu Ghraib. The depravity of man can now be seen on the big screen in 2010 with Maggie Grace (Lost), Cam Gigandet (New Moon), and Forest Whitaker (Repo Men) to also star. Have a look at a first photo from the set and a cast list inside.
