The Donner Party: How Far Would You Go to Stay Alive?

Already shown at the Porta Vallarta Film Festival in December (as seen here), The Donner Party is making an impact on DVD store shelves January 26th. Starring the phenomenal Crispin Glover (Charlie's Angels) and others, The Donner Party involves the real life account of several settlers who became trapped in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Also, loosely, the basis for the film Necrosis, the first trailer for The Donner Party shows hopelessness, looming starvation, and some characters changing from sanity to madness under dire and stressful circumstances. The film has two positives and possibly more in that the film offers some historical lessons and an entertaining look at what people will go to in order to survive (cannibalism, murder). Have a look at the trailer inside along with other important details from the The Donner Party.
