Tormented: Movie Still, News, and Trailer

The latest horror flick from the United Kingdom "Tormented," hopes to capitalize on the success of previous thrillers involving murder at a private school this Summer. BBC and Screen West Midlands are producing "Tormented," for an English audience this May 22, 2009. However, those of us across the ocean will need to wait until July 10, 2009 to see this flick in all its glory. Rehashing a storyline of the bullied becoming the bullier "Tormented," looks similar to other films like "Cry Wolf," and 2001s "The Hole." Apparently, some pretty teenagers will die, at a private school, after one character decides not to go down without a fight. Have a look at the first theatrical trailer, that leaves no uncertainty to the killer's identity, past the break.

The synopsis for "Tormented..."

Release Date: July 10, 2009.

First of all, The July release date is bogus. There has been no US distribution deal announce, let alone a release date set. Secondly, why parse the trailer to determine the killer's identity when the killer's identity is never in question? All of the publicity for Tormented has made it perfectly clear- go to blog.tormentedthemovie.com to see lots of videos. Finally, Tormented is a horror comedy, nothing like Cry Wolf or The Hole.

^*roll eyes*

Anyway, I really liked The Hole and want to see Cry Wolf, I don't mind English people with posh accents getting hacked to pieces. I didn't watch the trailer because I didn't want to spoil anything.

Well Vera way to take things personally and if you are associated with this shallow mess then that was a poor choice on your part.
